i very much so agree to arrive early. i am going to try to get there at about 9 maybe slightly earlier but not sure.
soundvisine
i called the venue and they are planning on opening at 9PM

being on the list does not mean you get in

early arrival is recommended

they are expecting a big turnout and with this being A&B's only west coast date

Yikes. Yeah I'll be there around 9:30.

So many people going. I'm rollin pretty deep once again. :P

BTW, me and some friends will probably be doing dinner down the street (Main/MacArthur) at about 7ish, if any of you TAs would like to meet up for some food & drinks beforehand.
gehzumteufel
..im leaving at like 830 then. i dont want to get assed out.
djGT
same here, better be there before 9PM! :wtf:

Just because they "plan" to be open at 9 doesn't mean they will be. We know how slow they can get things moving at times. Also note that the 'normal' crowd doesn't usually start filling up the place til about 10:30-11 or so.

I think 9:30pm is a safe bet. Anything before 9pm and you'll be twiddling your thumbs, imo. You can always go next door though and have a drink. I'll be down the street having dinner and drinks, so I'm not all that worried.

yes but robert consider this. this is their ONLY date here. no LA or SD shows. this is a trance event. combine these two things and you have a recipe for sardines. we both remember armin night there. :)

i know, i know...

here's my thinking. a&b has a huge following, but mostly on the interwebs. i don't think they are as mainstream in the 'states as say armin or tiesto. i know that there's a bunch of us going, as well the fanboys (not us TAs of course ;]).

if you guys will be there at 9, then i guess that's chill. i'll go too. my other friends might look at me funny, but i'll just shoo them off to the bar next door. :tongue2

those guys at the door are ridiculous with the list (sorry ryan)

last week dez put me and her bf on the resident djs list (boris) and they tell you they dont have you. Then they make those on ryans list stand there for about 15-20 min before the let like 5 people in at a time. They get you out for the list, but then claim you are not on it...so be ware, and if you are on that $10 list, you best show early!!!we were there with like 5-10 people in front of us at like 945 and they did not let us in, it was like 10:02 when we got to the front.

its a very nice spot tho, sound is good...some decent scenery and like 10 million in cars in the parking lot:eyespop:
