I realised this after I posted and saw swampers joke about closing the site

It's no joke - as far as regular consumer electronics are concerned. As of this model year, the use of the Technics name on consumer-level audio equipment (you know, the crap that you buy at Best Buy or Circuit City) has been discontinued. Instead, all mass-market consumer audio equipment that is marketed by Panasonic now carries the Panasonic name.
DJ equipment that is distributed by Panasonic will still carry the Technics name (for now). |
