Bitchslap! Domesticated Friday February 23rd, 11p.m. to 5a.m. at Toronto�s Footwork Bar. Bitchslap! Domesticated returns with its 2nd Domesticated chapter; Bitchslap! Domesticated. This marks the 5th installment in the Bitchslap! series featuring DJs, Patrick Dream (www.mileendrecords.com, Montreal), Sydney Blu (www.sydneyblu.com, Toronto), special guest Neill Macleod (www.neillmacleod.com, Toronto) and DJ:TK (www.djtk.net, Toronto). Bitchslap! is a special underground dance event series in Toronto for the forward thinking music lovers. Now, in its second year, Bitchslap! Began as the flagship night for 5ive Nightclub (R.I.P.) and has blossomed into a fabulous city-wide event series.
The last Bitchslap! Reloaded held at Toronto�s Fly Nighclub was such a huge hit. The Bitchslap! crew is at it again with Bitchslap! Domesticated, welcoming one of Montreal�s most reputable DJ/producers, Patrick Dream, and founder of Bombay Records where he helped release 10 albums and 30 singles, launching the careers of many Canadian producers. He�s also released �Second Shanty Dub� co-produced with Miguel Graca.
Patrick Dream has released tracks with Roy Davis Jr. and Fred Everything and has helped in developing the unique sound of house music from Montreal.
DJ Sydney Blu co-creator of Bitchslap! is one of Canada's foremost female DJs playing all over North America and Mexico. This year she releases her full length artist album on Hi-Bias Records followed by a North American tour.
Red Bull Energy Drink released �Slap This Bitch�, the Bitchslap! Double CD in 2005 with Sydney Blu and was produced by Chris Schroer and Steve Ireson. After being voted �Best New DJ of 2002� in Toronto�s eye weekly she is only going in one direction, up.
DJ:TK voted XTRA�s �Best DJ of 2005� is the only woman to spin in a men�s spa in North America, Spa Excess in Toronto. An active film music producer her original music has been and will be featured in various documentary films. She is also a regular contributor to Scenester Magazine.
First time Bitchslap! Domesticated special guest is Neill Macleod who launched his career playing at Montreal�s Unity II, Sky, Stereo /Stereo Bar, Parking, Black & Blue Leather Party and Bal des Boys. Currently residing in Toronto and he�s working with producer Stephan Grondin.
