Avery did look good out there and will add some grit to a team heading south just like they did last year. rangers usually do seem to play the devils well, but tonight was payback for the last shootout when the rangers won.
not sure if the rangers make the playoffs, but if I had to guess i would say they are going to sneak in there.
lundqvist is good.....marty is better :D |

Get off their damn backs...
In an ideal situation the Rangers would trade for a real quality center like a Forsberg but to get a guy like him means prospects and in this particular situation giving up so much for an aging player might not be the best idea. Sean Avery wasn't someone I thought they would acquire BUT he's a physical player and someone who will stand up for Jagr. I expect good things and IMO the Rangers have a chance at the playoffs and they'll pick up a couple more W's between now and April 8th.
As for Pittsburg how could you NOT love Sid?!? I would love love love to see them in what could be their last Stanley Cup Playoffs appearance in the Igloo. |
