omfg who remembers prodigy? they basically got me into the whole industrial -> techno -> happy hardcore -> trance :)

| I got their older album along with the Fat of the Land; Music for the Jilted Generation i think. One of my anthems is on the MFTJG song, No Good. simply awesome. They are coming out soon (?) with a new album. i cna't remeber but i think it's called Always Outnumbered; Never Outgunned. anyways, ya. i'm ready for a prodigy revival |

Chemical Brothers, Prodigy and Paul Oakenfold opened up my interest to high bpm tunes back in 1996-7....believe or not, all in one record store in Singapore called "Triptic Records"...2 TTs, 1 mixer on a DJ Booth. Back when Ecstacy was roaming everywhere....
Picked up Prodigy - Music For the Jilted Generation, Chemical Brothers - Exit Planet Dust and Oakenfold - Flouro..
Totally into the prodigy sounds...especially when you hit it real hard on your pedals while driving...lol
Highyl recommended tune : The Prodigy - Voodoo People and of course Smack my Bitch Up!

I'd say PRODIGY got me into the whole seen aswell!!
I read an interview about a year ago and they said they wish they had never produced tunes like FIRESTARTER and all that, although such songs made them more money and more popular ppl.
love to see what they could produce with the synths nowadays!!! |
