not sold, yet, but definitely interested
jim carrey - definitely excited to see what he can do in a more action/suspense roll
he was amazing in both the truman show and eternal sunshine, but both are fairly slow paced, but still i'm hopeful. also haven't seen lemony snicket's, but i've been meaning to. also man on the moon was ing great, and i swear no one ever saw that.
joel schumacher - idk bout this. phone booth? yeah i liked it, weird, but alrigth. st elmo's fire? definitely. bad company? yeah not so much. batman and robin? oh no.
virginia madsen - quality actress. doesn't really stand out to me, but i can't see her making it worse or detracting from it, unless jim carrey has the performance of his lifetime. lol and anyone who was in highlander II is ok in my book
overall - definitely up in the air. screenplay's by some guy who's done nothing before but has two other screenplays in preproduction, so who knows at this point. 'ill probably see it, but idk bout in theatres |

| going to see it tomorrow. I "sort of" want to see it, but this past wednesday, the Regal Preview Guide started showing clips of Spiderman 3 before the trailers. so that's a good incentive i guess. |

| As always, Jim Carey looks great, and I am looking forward to seeing him broaden his acting resume. I hope he puts up a good performance, as the critics are always looking for new meat to chop. |

hahaa, this movie was SOOOO gay!!!
it's the first movie i've ever walked out on.
i wanted to walk several times, but then i sort of just HAD to, it was so bad.
::narraration:: "I had a feeling he would tell to relax"
Doctor "you need to relax"
::narration:: "maybe he'd tell me to take a few days from work"
Doctor: "I think u need to take a few days off"
the movie goes all over the place, and it's hella boring. Once the skeleton got up and walked away, i knew it was do or die |

anyways, i rented Little Miss Sunshine. :(
this is the basic rundown.
Jim Carey plays Walter, an animal control guy. One day, on his birthday, he is forced to work overtime to catch a dog.
Because he was late to pick up his wife, his wife goes into a bookstore and finds a book titled "the number 23"
Walter then starts narrarating for about 10 minutes the first two chapters of the book. BORING.
Walter finds similarities and is convinced someone has written a book about him.
Then he starts going crazy finding 23 everywhere.
He starts going insane and then tries to find the author of the book. He thinks some guy in prison (who claims he is innocent) used the book as a sort of "confession" to killing some meathook. He finds it false.
then MYSTERIOUSLY, his son finds out that one of the pages is glued together, which reveals a PO Box.
They find out the owner of the PO Box, but he kills himself.
The way i remember the movie ending was that Carey and his son dug up a rock and found a skeleton, and then it walked away and as they were all driving home, Walter suddenly braked.
He looked into the oblivion. Right there, IN FRONT OF HIM, (along with music from that guy who composed Metal Gear Solid) "was THE DOG. The DOG that lead me to this. the DOG THAT MADE ME WANT TO KILL MY WIFE."
when i saw him staring down the dog with his truck, i walked out |

[flashback to a younger Tang talking to Master Doe]
Master Doe: There will be a chosen one.
Master Tang: He then told me of the significance.
[flashback]
Master Doe: It will be significant.
Master Tang: And then he killed the dog.
[flashback, Master Doe closes his eyes, we hear a fart then a dog whimper] |
