So being serious, how many actual active members, *legit* members, would you say we actually have? |

my closest friends that i've known the longest are all in NY so i rarely see them. :( other than that, i have friends that i met thru RJT but they all live 2 hours away from where i live. beyond that, the rest of my friends are TAs in Milwaukee/Chicago/teh world.
it might make me sound like a loser or a social recluse, but i don't really care to have lots of friends. between work and a long distance relationship, i don't really have a lot of extra time to go out and meet new people, and i'd rather spend the time that i do have with friends that count.
my kitten and my RJT are my best friends. |

True, I suppose.
I think the other way around because I actually had an established friend base prior to TA, and 85% of them are not EDM heads, so it's nice to be able to step out of the TA bubble. The people that I do meet and talk to from TA on an everyday bases(phone, email, msn etc) are just added bonuses, that slowly develop into friendships. |

Ta is so weird.. our MTL forum has recently become a major voice in the Montreal scene.. when I went out for this DJ contest last week and told the woman my dj name was Allied Nations and she was all in her french english aceent "I read your posts on uhh trance ehh tranceaddict"

But about the 70k. I wonder if everyone is an active member. As in read usually and sometimes make a post or 2. |

yah i mean.. ive been here longer, so there are TAs that i've known for almost 4 years now. i've grown to love and trust some of them the same way i love and trust my best buds back in NY. |
