Ive been makin a track and after a recenct save i can longer change anmything in the song. the only things i can change are the mixer volume levels.

even if i unplug a synth...the synth will still play/...or if i turn side chain off, it will still side chain and so on..

its only for this one song btw.

any ideas?

pfffffff....never heard of this one before. did you tried to rename the file or somethin like that? tho i don't know if it will work.

finaly you could just reinstall reason and see how it works.
BOOsTER
didn't you save as rps? as in reason published song? that way you'd have no chance :haha: and it'd do just what you describe...see if the file extension is rps or rns...if it's rps you're ed :stongue:
Kid_presentable
Nah its rns.

Actually I did save it under two different file names, slightly different versions..I guess ill just use the different version.
BOOsTER
it must have got ed somewhere else...anyway can't you copy the difference? I mean like look at version 1 (the one you can't save from) and copy the differences to version 2?

why not view it in notepad and see if theres any noticeable problems..... yes itll be all garbled chartchers but make sure theres not long distances of the same chartcher usually indication of lost data or corruption. could also try copy and pasting it into a new notepad file and saving it and seeing if that loads? legality try before you buy.... if your cutting tracks every week thats differnce becuase youve allready tried it and it worked so.......
