Grab your pre-sale copy of Above & Beyonds' ‘Good For Me’, viewed by many as one of the standout tracks on the Tri-State album and now lined up for a single release.
Co-written with Zoë Johnston of Faithless and Bent fame, the Original album version is a blissed-out downtempo beauty, but now this package adds a range of new mixes for the dancefloor.
Trance remixes come courtesy of Darren Tate, Thomas Datt and Above & Beyond themselves, whose Club Mix was voted Tune Of The Year by listeners to Armin Van Buuren’s Radio Show.
Housier remixes meanwhile come from King Roc and Redanka. King Roc pays homage to the Original with a stylish and deliberately laid back interpretation, already finding favour with Hernan Cattaneo among others. Redanka steps forward with a more traditional house offering, adding a 4X4 groove to the Original and bringing the piano riff to the fore.

Definitely agree with you...Sunny Lax - Blue Bird is not release yet, Nitrous Oxide - Morning Light and Orient Express will be released in 2010 or something, and last but not least the massive but late DT8 - Destination (Above & Beyond Remix) which I'll be able to get when I have two children and a lovely wife... |

dont mention the mystery track that won the webvote a few weeks ago which got a few people stressed over on the anjuna forums lol
anyway, the original of "good for me" is a great track and wouldnt be out of place on the beautiful music thread.
checked out the remixes on cdj shop but not too sure about them, i was intrested in the breaks mix until it went a little too off and lost the plot a little, not too sure about the others though and looks like A&B got the rough end of the deal with darren tate compared to their nice mix of destination, unfortunately the DT8 mix doesnt do alot for me although maybe if he went in a direction along the lines of his deep mix of "hold me til the end" then that would be interesting to hear with that vocal at a bpm in the low 130's.
its not a bad package and definately has something which will suit every taste which is good and with several tracks, you definately get your moneys worth for a cdr but its the original that really does the damage for me. |
