theres 1 good trick each show, the rest are pretty standard fare you usually see. The surreal settings is the only thing that makes it different (and gives some interest to most of the episode), but most of the tricks themselves are ho hum
I can't remember his name but channel 9 had a show on a few years ago with a street magician, I remember he was in Prague for a lot of his shows. English dude. He was pretty good. Did all his tricks in bars or on the street.
Thats another thing, with Sick Tricks some of their tricks are done in studios which makes it a little less believable, especially as they can use camera cuts much more effectively when its all set up like that.
I still watch it, but I just reckon the actual tricks aren't anything particularly new |
