Pretty much.
But it's ok - I am proud to be a have-not. At least it gives me a good reason to bitch about the state of things. :p |

If you're looking for cheap & cool watches and/or mobile phones, just visit your local pawn shop :)
Nothing says 'I Love Me' more than a watch that you know DAMN WELL is hot :haha: :p |

heh, well, being able to afford a watch/phone was basically a lie I made up to try to cover for my blaring sense of self-righteous philosophy. I really do hate knowing what time it is and I also hate talking to people on the phone - so there you have it. :p
Really though, I think that a lot of what is considered to be "civilized culture" is far too wrapped up in the future. People have meetings and appointments and other tripe that keeps them from appreciating the now. Watches are just tools people use to get their life in what they mistakingly consider to be some sense of 'order' and I don't really believe that's the answer. I know it doesn't make me happy. So yeah, not wearing a watch is what I would just consider a 'lifestyle choice'. Maybe one of these days, I will even gather the courage to tell my parents about it. :p |

I don't even know why you would want to find such a thing :(

Damn man, I really think you take life too seriously.
I have a watch, so that I can be places on time, and don't piss off others that may be waiting. It sucks to miss out on a party, or another situation that I may have enjoyed.
I have a phone, so that I can talk to my friends while I'm where-ever I happen to be. And I can call a taxi when I want to go home, again, while I'm where-ever I happen to be.
I hardly ever use my mobile, and don't subscribe to that blue-tooth nonsense to make me feel busy and important. I'm not looking at the future, I'm simply using the technology that I have available.
In all rights, it's not NECESSARY for you to have a COMPUTER. Posting on internet forums is not necessary for your survival...but it seems you're ok with that one :p
Fair enough if you don't like talking on the phone, neither do I. But it can be damn useful! |

*I'm* the one without class while you are the drunkard who cannot fully appreciate gifts from your loved ones? |
