if you don't have the grades for vassar, you're pretty ed in terms of getting into anywhere decent. you can try to hit up skidmore and puff herb all day. iona or manhattanville are also options if you want to stay in that area.

if you had the grades i'd recommend swarthmore in PA. if i ever have kids, it's the kind of place i'd send them.

edit: actually re-looking at your list of wants, pace, fordham, st. john's or rutgers (which someone already suggested) might be good idea.
