| i don't know if it was because i was in a good mood, or because the morning was beautiful as i drove across the bay bridge yesterday as i listened to this, but i really enjoyed this mix. had i listened to it any other day or had i been driving elsewhere, i probably woulldn't have enjoyed it as much, (because the truth is the mixing needs a little work in some spots), but yesterday it didn't matter. the track selection was spot on for my surroundings and my mental state. stuff like this you don't forget easily. thanks for the share. and how about a cue sheet so that i can burn this?:) |

Finally got a chance to listen to the mix. I have to continue to reinforce that this tracklist is splendid. It's a reminder on what got me into trance music to begin with. As with this genre, though, make sure you're in a place where you can truly appreciate it. I couldn't see popping this one in right before going out. It's perfect Sunday Morning soundtrack where you've been out all night and enjoying a morning cup coffee with friends at the tail end of an afterparty. The mixing is a bit off in places, but in all honesty it doesn't destroy the aesthetic of work as a whole. With these styles of music, it's important to focus more on the aural ambiance than the rithyms and drums.
Overall a good mix. I enjoyed it. |

Hej, Mr Mag, I'm downloading as I type (actually, that's not true. Looks like the dl already finished. Fast!). I think I will like this set!
I totally enjoyed the first mix that you posted...the retro mix? I guess I don't know that it was the first mix that you posted but it was the first one that I saw you post.
