Who's "we"? I guess you've never been to Germany. They have a very different culture there... people relax naked in public parks and town squares.

SURPRISE. I am FROM Germany, but 95% of the people on this board aren't so therefore they are brought up with the mentality that public nudity is wrong. I think if it were legal here it would be disrespect to those who don't find it right. To those who vote in favor of it should either move to where they can be nude freely or just suck it up and live with the laws where they are. There is no need to legalize it, it should remain where it is, illegal. The places where it is legal should remain as so but there is no need to over do it and make it so that you can be all over he world.

I'M POSTING THIS NAKED!:wtf:

No, no, and no. One of the primary principles of a free society, maybe the primary principle, is that anything should be permitted unless we have a very pressing reason to restrict it, such as if it harms somebody or destroys his property.

"We" are? I was not brought up that way. Maybe with the idea of public nudity being weird, but not morally wrong.

Is there any reason TO parade around naked, masturbate or even have sex in public? No.

Well, I can think of no good reason, so I would not do these things, but that is not a good basis for law. What is a "good reason" for you may be no reason at all to someone else, and vice versa.

Are every single one of the laws that are written perfect for everyone? No.
MrJiveBoJingles
Nope.

But why should something be illegal if it harms nobody beyond disgusting them? If enough people were completely intolerant of homosexuality, would it be appropriate to ban gay couples from holding hands?

Frenchie from Germany, in Toronto?

And I thought Allied Nations was our true "citizen of the world" :tongue3

No, but people are are fighting that though.

It's not that it is only the matter of disgust, it's also the fact that it's out of respect for those who don't believe in parading around naked. Why can you just do it in the privacy of your own home? People complain that, " I only get seen as a piece of ass( applies to men and women ), and I hate people stare at me" these are people who wear almost nothing ( mostly women in this case who choose to wear almost nothing and if had the chance would wear nothing), so to make it legal we'd have a bunch of chaos and hypocrites walking around.

It just seems as though it would be an open invite to discriminate and hate more than what he have today. Why cause more of that when it's what we need less of.

Ok how did this get turned around, back to making it illegal.

-Well, there are more illegal places than legal places to be naked, so It seems as though you could challenge the other side of this. " Should it be all legal"

Well, it is already established that property owners have the right to determine "dress codes" for their property and turn away people who are dressed inappropriately, so the issue would only be over public lands like parks.

Yes, No and Yes...
Nudity is a form of expression that many believe to be taboo, tribes in Africa til this day walk around nude and it is an everyday thing without giving it a sexual innuendo...if aborigenes can do it..why cant our society?

Masturbation is a self release form of sex, it is meant to be natural? Absolutely, but it is also a personal time.

Public sex? Hell yeah! Our society has come a long way from the days of the Roman Empire, in which there were no taboos or secrets.
You wanted it, you had it. Period.
