Downtempo tribal?

| Is there even such a thing? I was listening to Future Sound of London - Amoeba just a minute ago, and I noticed this has alot of similarities with tribal & prog house, but it's at a much slower tempo (around 100 bpm), and that gives it a much deeper and more interresting vibe. So now I'm wondering if there's any kind of tribal dance music that hovers around 100-120 bpm, with a proggy atmospheric sound to it? (obviousely other than more FSOL) I have a pretty limited knowledge of D&B, and everything I've heard so far seemed to be pretty uptempo and void of tribal elements. |
