music theory question

Just was wondering if having different rhythmic patterns in your track ,played by different timbres i s accepted in trance.

or one riff play everything frm the intro to the outro

in clasical forms of music (trance derives from classicl)you may have one song for example

the intro played with a cello, the build up played with a flute, the counterpoint may be a viola or a guitar or french horn ,then you have your first melody come in and its a baby grand piano and so forth

but then you have some classical music made for one instrument like a piano

so my question is would that work in trance where as the main riff was used all through out the song playing each element?

or you had maybe twenty different timbres(vsts) playing variations of your main riff,

I know Enigmatic XTC said if it sounds good go with it just wondering if someone feels the same way as i do with classical music and trance.

The question really has nothing to do with theory. And if it sounds good, use it.
