yes this is all hypothetical, but,
what if future versions of windows have so many restrictions that it doesn't become a popular platform for musicians anymore?
I don't want to be hearded to MAC, but if I have to.
I've actually anticipated this threat.
But that would mean that I would have to purchase apps that have both MAC and Windows versions.
The PC plugs that I like most are:
Sytrus
Wusik
Zeta
what are the hybrid equivalents of these apps?
(available on windows and MAC)
thanks!

With the introduction of Intel processors in new Apple Macintoshes, it is possible that MacOS X (or 11 or 12, etc.) will become available "officially" for the PC Hardware platform. If that happens, you may see the equivalent of the Mac universal binary for the PC platform, where software can run on both operating systems interchangably. Then there will be no more split development between PC and Mac. The first and most difficult hurdle of this bridge to software utopia has already been leapt. |
