Question about Vanguard...

How long are the headliners' sets? Is there a closing set for the night?
Just want to make sure because from what I heard headliners' set are usually 2 hours long. |

| Yeah generally two hours from what I've seen. Seems that there is usually a closer too, but not always. |

it really depends but most are longer...
Sharam played 2.5 hours the other nite. Zabiela for ~3...
last weekend i think you could argue both DJs were of equal stature and therefore i'm assuming each played 2 hours.
Roger Sanchez is playing open to close this Sat...6.5 hours.
its pretty rare to have someone come on after the headliner though it did happen with Lawler back in December... |

Yeah back on the day before new years. That was really annoying. Lawler was rocking it. I was really upset to have him come off so early. I was ready to dance until the sun came up, but after Lawler got off it was a total buzz kill. |

i'ts actually very common to have a closer, at least the last few times i've been to vanguard for infected mushroom, lawler, and a couple others. |

not only with the local DJ closer comes out after the 2hrs of headliner, vanguard lower the volume down after the headliner...
it's like the anouncement that the club will be closing...
it's like only two hrs of function and the headliner dj... |

yeah im going to markus to, what time should i be there??
when i went to johan i thought he would be on at 2 since the club was goin till 4. but instead he went on at 12 and i was late. i dont want this to happen again. |

just be there early. that's my preference though since this will be my first time going to vanguard. i would like to see how to the opening dj spin his-her set to get me ready for markus schulz.

that would suck if after markus is done with his set and the party is over... |
