The Grand Opening of Studio Mezmor with DJ Vibe!
Studio Mezmor welcomes Portuguese legend, DJ Vibe. Vibe started his exalted career at age fifteen by playing his first gig at Lisbon’s discotheque Bata. While Vibe is known for his being one of Europe’s most versatile DJs, he is famous for spinning at the opening of Lisbon’s legendary nightclub, Plateau, in 1985. By bringing in a selective yet diverse crowd of artists, movie stars and fashionisttas, Vibe propelled Lisbon’s nightlife into worldwide fame. Later in 1988, DJ Vibe commenced on a remarkable seven year residency at Kremlin, also in Lisbon. While his prominence in shaping Lisbon’s nightlife is undisputed, DJ Vibe also launched a popular radio show, the “DJ Vibe Mix Show” on the Portuguese radio station Antenna 3 in 1994. Studio Mezmor and Victor Calderone Present The Official Album Release Party EVOLVE!
Victor Calderone will work the new Main Room at Studio Mezmor with his Tribal progressive beats and hot remixes. Tonight we celebrate the release of his new CD, "EVOLVE" on Ultra Records, available in stores everywhere on February 20th. The multi-talented master of musical manipulation has worked with a diverse assortment of some of the worlds top recording artists such as: Madonna, Sting, Destiny’s Child, Sheryl Crow, Mandalay, Garbage, and Goldfrapp, in addition to producing several original productions. Recently Victor’s sound has led him into the studio for collaborations with some of the most respected producer/DJs out there, such as DJ Vibe, Chus & Ceballos and D-Formation to name a few. Victor has held residencies in top clubs in the U.S. as well as inspiring, and entertaining audiences in Australia, Canada, England, France, Greece, Ibiza, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Spain, & Portugal. Also catch him at Virgin MegaStore in Union Square on March 8th @ 7:30 PM.

After PVD I'm not sure how the hell I put myself together to make it back to Studio on Saturday but as soon as I got inside the music took me over and I was good to go. DJ Vibe was really good....I was def feeling his set but as soon as Victor came on it was like an atomic bomb went off inside Studio. WOW!!! Nasty, dirty, banging after hours house at it's best. Everybody in the entire club was dancing their asses off.....dance battles everywhere.....some of the best dancers I have seen out in a very long time. The place was def a circus show but the vibe was unreal. Got to meet some really cool people as well as hang out with some I have not seen out in a long time. I thought the sound in Studio was really good for PVD but it was even better Saturday night. They even had a trapeze dancer swinging on a swing above the main bar which was pretty cool. Victor dropped his new track "Let me set you Free" which was an amazing track to hear in a big club. I will get the pictures posted as soon as I get permission from Studio to post them....apparently they have some contract with a magazine and they have to be the first to publish photos. Can't wait for Victor to come back....I will def be there! Thanks to Mike for being a trooper and coming with me.....I think Mike is turning into a house head!:disbelief

The Club, the music and the vibe was just at its best this time.
Vtek, I got the video of the trapeze dancer swinging and a number of other vdeos too. It really sucked music was stopped at 12:05pm, which was exactlly 7 hours into Calderone mix and the club was still at its fullest. The man absalutely outdid himself with his dark tribal house this time. I am glad I chose to have my Birthday party at Studio. Thanx to Bradley for all the help because the room I had was just perfect & all my friends really enjoied themselves.

I wasn't taking those Videos then. My friends were passing my camara around the VIP all night. I was just too busy cousing other mayhem. :toocool: The only reason I wasn't thrown out of the the club is because it was my birthday I guess, since I was caught a number of times handing out pills to my friends. :toothless
