It’s going to be called.. ‘Sententia’
I’m here to announce title of my next artist album. It’s going to be called.. ‘Sententia‘. Like previous title ‘Inwardgaze‘ this one also has lot of meaning behind it. If I would try to explain excatly why I’m calling my album Sententia I would have to write a little book. But basicly it’s a Latin word and translates: sentiment, opinion, decision, saying, thought, way of thinking, meaning, purpose, thought, meaning purpose.
The picture of clouds above this text is part of the album artwork and relates with the title and general mood of the album. While ‘Inwardgaze’ was very dark in sound and color ‘Sententia’ is going to be bright and positive but still mellow. As I’ve experienced my life is getting brighter it’s starting to show in everything I do, especially in music and artwork but also in my overall way of behaving. With this album I have only one goal.. I want people to feel happy even for a little moment while they’re listening to it.
One trick I’m still trying to do is to have fun with track lenghts. As you might know maximum lenght for the audio CD is 78 minutes. That’s the official lenght that’s guaranteed to work in every standard CD player. Then I’ve always thought album should have at least 12 tracks in it, god knows why but that’s how I feel. So then I realised if I’ll make the first track 1 minute long, second track 2 minutes long and so on I will end up with 12 tracks and excatly 78 minutes of music. I ‘m trying to make this happening because in my opinion this idea is just so cool and haven’t find any album like that around. |

| i'm kinda looking forward to it. i didn't like inwardgaze or pretty much anything kuisma's done since. i still love the stuff he used to make though! |
