I've found out that Moby is DJ'ing at Ministry of sound in London on March 10th.
I'm a big fan of Moby but in terms of DJ'ing I have absolutely no idea what he would play. Bear in mind Ministry is a dance club, I wouldnt of thought him playing much of his own stuff but don't know what he would play.
Anybody have a good idea or could point me to possible trcklistings of any recent DJ gigs he's had? |

just ing go, this sort of thing doesn't come around very often as he doesn't really DJ anymore. His sets from years back are the stuff of legends

I know it dont come round very often but I'd still like to have an idea of what type of music he would play. I couldnt even hazard a guess at a genre let alone a sub genre or specific tunes. Gonna cost me about £100 in total for this night so I'd like to know what I'm letting myself in for before I commit

moby's djing can either be borderline excellent, or really really wank, from what i heard, most of his djsets has been the latter, he can beatmix, but he often plays records like a hiphop dj.

I'd go, because it's a rare thing for him to DJ now. However, don't expect anything really spectacular.

I've never seen him DJ but I have heard he plays a lot of his own productions and or remixes, mixed in with classic techno music from the 80s and 90s.

Oh, and if you can find it, check out his Essential Mix from 1994.
