Fine Grind and Fun in the Murky bring you a night of Techno!
When: Friday March 23rd, 2007
Where: The Purple Room (Inside Revolution Nightlcub) 341 Marsland Drive, Waterloo
Featuring Dj Sets from:
Sebastian Prelar - Montreal [Djax-Up-Beats, Bass Heavy, Highball]
Born in Montreal, former member of The 909 Soldiers who ran a few years ago one of the first Montreal based techno labels, In-Filtration Records, Sebastian has been fascinated and obsessed by electronic music since the end of the 80's / early 90's. He seriously got more involved in composing and creating in 1996. Being active on the Montreal techno scene for years, he acquired experience by giving quite a few live shows downtown and around the city. He then got signed and finally released his first tracks on Disktrick and In-Filtration Records in 1999.
Prelar's style is mostly bangin' & jackin' non-conformed techno with a dirty Chicago flavor, armed with pounding heavy beats & raw vocals. In 2003 he joined the Djax-Up-Beats family and released his first solo EP on the label, also remixed DJ Rush twice and soon after got signed on the german techno label Highball Music. Continuing to expand the underground jackin' techno sound, he then got signed and joined the DJ Bam Bam's Chicago based label, Bass Heavy Music and recently joined the new hard & bangin' techno label from New Jersey, Corporate.

I'll be there most likely...
Hitting up caesar martinis for a trance night first though! Never knew they would even consider playing trance there, should be interesting and should draw a "sophisticated" crowd. |
