What are the advantages and disadvantages of these two models headphones?
I sold my RPDH series because they were so HEAVY. I'm wanting to try the RPDJ series if they are a lot lighter. |

RP-DJ 1210 are definetely more durable, look less plastic, are more compact, and ..... are being discontinued (some models) so go get em!:disbelief
(dont know about weight) google up the RPDH and RPDJ weight specs |

I was told that they are a lot lighter weight than the RPDH. Is this true? I am hunting the RPDJ 1200 not the 1210. I dont know if there is a weight difference.
Because when I looked it up online they appear to be the exact same weight. Maybe this is just an error? I dunno its kind of hard to find much on this model since they are getting discontinued. |

Is there any difference between the RPDJ1210 and the RPDJ1200 besides the fact that the 1210 is not all black? |

| read the specs. the 1210 have a broader freq.response |

On top of that, the 1210's are mostly silver with a curly cord, and the 1200's are blakc with a straight cord.
I might be wrong, as a few sites seem to claim they're selling silver 1200's with a curly cord, but from what I remember when I bought them, this was another difference (6 years ago anyway). |

According to this site...the RPDJ 1200 and the RPDJ 1200a have the same frequency response. 1210? I have never heard of this model number. Why isnt it on their site?

Actually I just saw two different specs for the same headphone on their site. WTF!!
Losing my mind here. Guitar Center doesnt carry them so I can't just go and look at the back of the box. |

The RPDJ 1200 & 1210 vary by country. In the US, my RPDJ1200 is black and silver. In other countries the RPDJ 1200 is all black. And in other countries, they're backwards... Same goes for the RPDJ1210.
I own the RPDJ 1200 and I can tell you it's black and silver.
Yet, in Spain, my RPDJ 1200 are actually the RPDJ1210ES

| side note to anybody interested in the RPDH1200s:Be carefull, mine cracked in about 10 places, dodgy dispatch i think.M/E has used them for 2 years and apprantly had no problems. My mate has a pair, and his are showing signs of cracking.Best advice would be to stay away and get the HD25s.Oh, and i treated mine like golddust, even handled them in the correct places where there was less stress on the parts. |
