Stunt drivers are professionals who hone thier skill on closed tracks, with the appropriate safety equipment and emergency resonse teams in place, taking careful notes on the car's performance and response to input on the controls. They work on mastering one movement at a time, slowly feeling out the action until they can perform it in a safe, controlled manner.
This is nothing more than some stupid people risking thier lives, and those of innocent motorists, blasting around on the public highways with thier buddies in tow. They are no better than the douchebags who cause fatal accidents on the DVP or 400 because they were racing thier friends on a Saturday night.
Jumping off a bridge doesn't make me a stuntman, and driving like an as*shole doesn't make them stunt drivers. |
