I cant stop listeniing to this track at the moment and for whatever reason, it just didnt really hit me when it was originally released in 2004 but after getting a re-release in Jan it has really grabbed me.
For me, it is the type of tune that really reminds of how great dance music can be...progressive, housey but yet with trance & tech elements as well, uplifting yet deep.....but more importantly...it gets you dancing immeadiately. Put on your mp3 player and i guarentee you will have to restrain yourself from throwing a few shapes on the train, bus or wherever!!!
It has an infectious sound and for some reason it strikes me as the perfect tune to playing as you walk into a gradually filling club at around 7/8 o'clock in the evening.....where people are beginning to relax and let the music take over.
Right ill stop going on about...I like the tune and I just dont think there have been many progressive house tunes over the last couple of years that manage to catch the same vibe as this one. If anyone has any recommendations, please make them.... |

Been listening to this one lately as well, and what a pleasant discover! Fell instantly in love with the 'balearic' vibe.
Some other tunes that fit your description would perhaps be
Sasha - Cloud Cuckoo (Luke Chable Remix)
Maurice & Noble - Hoochie Koochie (Original Mix)
Haji & Emanuel - Take Me Away (Dub)
Saints & Sinners - Peace (Oliver Lieb Remix)
I love this kind of stuff, so i'd appreciate some recommendations as well. |
