A question about putting a liveset on a cd

I have a little problem with this, and I will fill all of you in on the situation.
A downloaded like 3 livesets recently which were all about 2 hours long. Now since I could not fit the whole set on one cd, I downloaded the program mp3 splitter. After I split one of the livesets, I listened to the splitted files on my computer to ensure quality. The quality definitely did not decrease, and so I burned the two parts to cd. I did this process with all the other livesets also. Now after burning, I started listening to the cds on my audio system and ran into a weird problem. Basically for all of the cds, they started out fine, quality was fine without any problems, but after about the 25 minute mark there was a huge addition of static until the end of the cd. Now here is what I did to try to solve the problem:
1. In order to see if it was only that liveset, I checked all the other cdsI burned and they were also full of static after about the 25 minute mark. So its not the specific liveset.
2. I checked the parts that were split by mp3 splitter on the computer, and the quality was actually fine on the computer.
So it cannot be the software.
Can someone please help me with this problem, is it my burner or is it the software???
Has anyone had similar problems in the past?

Well try overburning the cd, so dont split the setup and just burn it :)
It will cut the end off, but nevermind, if the static is on that cd it is the software or burner, also try burning maybe a short liveset, say an hour long, see if there is the same probs.
I use nero, never had any probs :) |

no offence but its stuff for the chill out section
I got a problem I burnt my mp3z to cds and after the 60 minute mark I hear nothing.
Then after burnt 15 cds or something (I just had my writer)
I found out that the cds sucked so I bought new cds and it was all fine |

| Well I am pretty sure its not the burner because when I dont split a file and burn a regular liveset that is about 70 minutes long I dont have any problems. |

| what i usually do is cut the Mix into 3 half's and use NERO to fade in and out, at end off the day your gonna miss some bits but who's gonna know ? |
