| Ok, I'm buying a dig cam this week, and i've almost decided on the canon sd550. seems to have good low-light ability, and good vid, etc.. any other suggestions/recommendations before i make this big purchase?? |

| SD 800IS...it has optical image stabilization. It's a little more pricey but go for it if you can swing it. (I Work part time in the Best Buy camera dept.) |

Yeah man it's a great camera as well. You can't go wrong with any of the SD series. |

Agreed I think the Canons are a great bet. Prob the best cam on the market in that price range.
Although the DSLRs are getting cheaper... I'm saving my pennies. |
