| I have rca inputs on my computer, however when i plug them in i get no sound input into the program im using to record a mix. Im thinking that my soundcard might be screwed somehow, and im going to take it in to be looked at, but is there something i might be doing wrong or something i can do to fix it myself? |

Try different selections for the input in your program. You may need to select "Line In" as your input source.
Also, open up your sound card utility or your volume control, and check the levels for recording/input in there, making sure the "Mute" is unchecked. |
