Not Trance or really Dance related, but it is interesting. Every 3 Fridays at avalon, 19+, $10 cover. Getting pretty big.
Pretty much they take a bunch of indie rockers and let them DJ whatever. Lots of trainwrecking and beatmatching problems for some, but it's a VERY friendly atmosphere. Lots of rock and classic dance tracks were spun, so this is definately for the "reminiscing" crowd rather than the "whats the brand new tune Sasha is playing?!"
I actually heard songs from the "No More Conversation (Mylo Remix)" to "What Is Love?" and even some songs from The Prodigy "Breathe" and "Smack My Bitch Up" |
