So I was watching CSI and saw this cool apparatus...
What is it called and how many have taken a ride in it?

it was closed when i was in vegas, as it didnt go fast enough.
what you should be interested in is the tower, which shoots people upwards and then bounces them down.
i was too freaked out eight years ago.
imagine being 1500+ feet up and then launching yourself farther up.

i've been on something similar a long time ago in england. It was in a coastal resort & placed so you thought you were dropping down back into the sea as you came down. Adding the extra height would be fun. |

do you THINK
if someone went on the stratosphere, put penny in their mouth, then, while the ride was in play, they spit the penny out of their mouth into the oblivion, and it hit somoene on the street blew, would it kill them????????????

we have a tower like that in our town on top of a hill in the amusement park. Can't ride it anymore though since I'm too tall. Sucks. |

No, the penny would reach terminal velocity well before it could go fast enough to kill someone. |
