Dude, if i lived in NYC i would be partying thursday, friday, sat and sunday.

Its too expensive to drive the car back and forth.

MMM yeah.... PvD tore it up ! It more than made up for Roseland. He was relentless and really strung the set together well. I think this is in the top 5. The system was tuned in nice too . I spent most of the night front left of stage on speaker and didnt get any ringing.

Yeah I thought the sound was very much in check all night. Didn't really notice any weak points at all. Lets see if they keep it up.

BTW was Crobar different, cause from the pictures it looks the same

First off, pretty much everything was a pvd rework last night since paul has really started to utilize ableton. Hell,he even gave us a 30 min timeframe for him just messing around with ableton with spastik in the background, kept changing the bassline to different basslines that he uses throughout his whole set. My tracklist is not going to be on point till I get back to charlotte on tuesday. I dont have my digital camera cable or all my sets to go through and figure out the track names. But I will say this, the first 3 hours were relentless. He came on at about 143bpms and didnt slow down for nearly 3 hours. When he did get back up it was kinda off and on but it didnt matter, i think he was just trying to give the crowd a break.

Tracklist: If you already said the track, i am just verifying it since there might be some doubt

Dave Spoon - At Night
Way Out West - Mindcircus (G&D Mix)
Modulation - Spirits (Slusnik Luna remix)
Filo and Peri - Anthem
New Order - Blue Monday
Synsaethesia (did not recognize the mix)
Simon & Shaker - Make It (Dub Mix)
Angelli and Nelson - Holding onto nothing
Paul van Dyk feat. Ashley Tomberlin - Complicated
Paul van Dyk - Stormy skies (new remix, not ableton rework)
Kuffdam and Plant - The Ones We Love (Dogzilla remix)
As the rush comes vs Kuffdam and plants - Dream maker (not a fan of ATRC but this was hot)
Giuseppe Ottaviani - Through your eyes (Original mix)
Mac & Mac - Listen (Mac Zimms Dub Mix)
Nu-NRG - Casino
Randy Katana - Fancy Fair 2005

Did I hear Paul Van Dyk - Another way and Nautical Imaginary - Distant Dreams when I was in coat check

I will add to this when i get my camera cable or think of new ones.

Overall, i enjoyed the night alot, i think it was an awesome set. The club was nice and big and the crowd was carrying an awesome vibe.

happy to see positive reviews here..

ive skipped the last couple of pvd shows as i really started to think he was losing his touch.. i just couldnt bear another time of our lives for an angel set.. but wow, did he bring it.

i was very impressed.. a little too packed but his track selection was great.. and he used the abelton to and really pushed the music to a new level.

holding on to nothing
ones we used to love were highlights

he played that tune that armin and schulz like.. i think its 'bissen - exhale'

Justin Timberlake - What Goes Around...Comes Around (Paul van Dyk Rub)

I havent posted in a really long time, but I thought it would be worth it to state that FINALLY Paul departed from his "usual" batch of tracks to end his set! Woo hoo!

The whole night was great, a perfect mixture of new tracks and semi-old, and despite the fact that his transitions are mechanical nowadays, you can really tell now that he's really comfortable with his Ableton setup......

Tracks of the night:
DT8 Project ft. Andrea Britton - Hold Me Till The End (Truly Deeply Dub)
Paul van Dyk - Otra Dia
--> Probably one of the most under-rated tunes in pvd's arsenal, glad he played it finally!!!!

I feel the same way, to me its been downhill since Nov 4th 2005 at Space in miami. But last night makes me feel a lot differently. I have over a gig in videos but will have to wait till tuesday to start getting them uploaded
