Best time I've had at sonic yet...
Club was the most packed Ive seen since the opening/May event of Chus and Ceballos...
Good crowd, good music, wicked vibe... worth the last minute decision of $50...

ROXY is closing March 10th as well. And for the record, STEREO has barely survived. They have changed ownership / gone bankrupt 3-4 times since they opened. I lost track. lol |

Yes 50$ can be alot. Buy your tickets in adavance and save your %15 you are bitching about.

Do your math right (dunno if u meant %15 = 15%)
Going from $30 (advance price b4 feb 1st) to $50 at the door represents a 66.66% hike.
Going from $35 (advance price after feb 1st) to $50 at the door represents a 42.85% hike.
I think this is the highest cover charged for ANY DJ at Sonic for a regular night (except New Years event). People paid it regardless, as the huge crowd inside the club showed. That shows that a LOYAL crowd will pay for what they they think will be good entertainment. But it's the SHADE FACTOR that sucks.

Agreed 100%. It's an AFTERHOURS DANCE club. Expect A LOT OF PEOPLE who go to DANCE, not to stand around, looking "fabulous" in their imitation designer clothes and fake Prada shoes..... |
