| event horizon is the point at which u start to feel the strength of the black hole, if u pass the event horizon u get sucked in to god knows where, but if u're not passed it then u're safe :D |

Actually, I beleive you feel the black hole far before the event horizon - The event horizion is simply the point at which the gravity of the black hole is so strong, light can not escape, and thus anything that crosses that point has literally 0 chance of escaping, since nothing is faster than light (or so we beleive). |

| this reminds me of something i read a while back that really pissed me off. the article stated that everythinig is the same as nothing. the stupid thing about that is that there is no such thing as nothing. nothing obviously doesn't exist. if it takes up space (aka exists) then it is obviously soemthing. |

The speed of light in a vacuum (c=300000 Km/h) has already been exceeded, this is old news folks. Article here.
Einstein has not been proven wrong though... yet. Even though a pulse can be made to travel faster than light, one still cannot transmit information faster than light. |

| so i'm just wondering, i mean it's a cool idea and stuff, but where are they getting this from, or are people just pulling it out of their asses? |
