I never got to try Mariestad, but i did hear it was excellent! Carlsberg is alright, but nothing special. The slogan is the best been slogan ever! "probably the worlds best beer." thats so scandinavian its not even funny...heh.
corona can eat my ass, everyone thinks its the , even tho its just Bud from Mexico. Sol is in my opinion a better, ty beer. late/ |

american beer weak? come on....have you tried Ham's special light? Natural light? Milwaukee's Best?....ok, some suck...but not ham's special light...best cheap beer.
anyway, favorite beers are Fat Tire (a colorado microbrew), guiness, and paulaner hefeweissen. mmmmm, i had a paulaner this past weekend and it tasted great! i also stole a Mass (1 liter stein) from the paulaner tent at oktoberfest...great time.... |

Mariestad is the best swedish beer IMO... Only problem is those bigass heavy bottles that keep taking up too much space in my appartment.. hehe..
Carsberg Hof sucks... I ment to write Carlsberg Sort Guld... Thats the !! Used to be my favorite beer... :) |

There's a pub near me does 11% strong pints. I can't remember the name though.
They also serve until the last man leaves which is cool.
I haven't tried that one Murray, I'll have to give it go sometime. What is it, lager, bitter? |

It's a LAGER ALEX, which is not what i usually drink!
Don't think you can get it on DRAUGHT, well you will be able to it'll just be rare as rocking horse ! Its' the best CANNED LAGER i've ever tasted, and i put thhe 5% on that post just for ppl's interest. For me it has to be reasonably strong, but it's the taste that counts.
BTW, you can easy get it in the off-licenses in the UK, try it!!
