That story was as interesting as Frank telling me about his escapade with the nail clippers and the really long toe nails that he's been suffering through over the past few weeks.

Interesting lol ;)

Oh my god, this totally reminds me of another story...

Six and a half years ago when i was still dating Allan, from North York(he was originally from North York but then moved to Alberta, and came back for his last year of high school to be with his friends).

We went out to the movies and on the way there stopped at a red light, actually it may have been a stale yellow, but that is beside the point. But the really interesting thing is that the car that pulled up next to us was playing that song "All Right Now" by Free, you know the one that goes "All Right Now, baby its all right now", and i just remember that the words of the song spoke to me in volumns, not small volumns big volumns, like two litre bottles of ginger ale volumns.

After that I would say to Allan, "How can we go on living our lives this way?", and I went home and changed my whole wardrobe. I couldn't be driven to wear any purples socks anymore, not after those words spoke their powerful message to me, it was as if I was a little girl, back in bible school learning the lessons of abraham and isaac all over again...

All of a sudden, Allan started to think differently of me, he would say things like, "if one person at a stop light can make you change your ways this much, what can I do?"

And he started trying to make me change my ways. He didn't used to like the way that I would take showers at night instead of the morning, so he would start asking me and asking me, "could you at least try to shower in the morning?"

I was like, "As if!", you are not going to change the person that I am just so you can have the satisfaction of having me shower in the mornings instead of the evening. Can you imagine someone trying to do such an inconsiderate thing.

So after that we broke up, and I went back to living the single life, which was good for a while until I started going through the "rough patch".

I would eat 13 donuts a day, sometimes two litres of chocolate milk, the kind with the extra callories, so you know how bad it was.

I gained 4 and a half pounds over 5 days and cut off all contact with the outside world.

I wasn't even talking to my psychic friend miss betty, who I had been paying to help me out with my relationship counselling because at the time i was still working out my details with Sam, who was the guy I dated while I was a camp counsellor at Lake Tonowanda.

It was a camp up in the muskokas that used to teach things like trampoline and sailing. I used to run the arts and crafts section of the camp.

Our schedule was that...

Monday 9-12, quilt making, 12-1 lunch, 1-5 needle point
Tuesday The Whole Day was full of nothing but paint by numbers, one equalled yellow, two equalled red, three equalled orange, and so on and so on...
Wednesday 8-11 (yes we got an extra early step on Wednesdays) we used to do pot making, we tried to make the professional like pots like they did in Ghost (you know that movie with Whoopie and Patrick and Demi), but the kids would get to excited and push their hands right through the wet clay, i mean like right through it, not part way through or most of the way through but all the way through, so that was really hard for us to do properly. In the afternoons we cleaned up.
Thursday we would do knitting, end of story.
Friday was a best of from the week where we could do whichever activity we wanted to, can you imagine that, the freedom!

Those were the days!

Wow, that was a really boring story. If I were Larry I'd have planted a car bomb instead, just so I'd never ever have to listen to something so interminably tedious ever again.
