I've been listening to the latest release by these guys:

Synsyn (@ http://www.synsun.info/) - you can download a set from their site..

Pretty good stuff.

Living in Cape Town South Africa am pretty spoilt for choice with Psytrance (have been teasing BlackVortex of late ;) )..

Labels of note are:

  • Nano
  • Alien Safari
  • Timecode
  • Altered States
  • Alchemy

As for the feeling of psy? There's plenty of crap out there just like any other genre/subgenre - but there's plenty of good too and I find the local scene here to be spectacular and certainly takes me on my journeys with my spirit guide.

Was at two festivals of late, Origin and Groovy Troops - the last was truly a spectacular event - intimate setting/crowd and journeyed with friends under the stars.

This is our next big event - big by our standards in that there'll be in the order of three thousand there - usually our events are a little smaller. One I went to in November had about three hundred people! It was awesome in a forest.
Project-K
The Overlords - Sundown (Ionizer remix)

Etnica - Chemical Trance

+ older man with no name tracks...
Magadansky
Some of my favorites are:
MFG
California Sunshine
Chi A.D.
Etnica
Pleiadians
Hallucinogen
Miranda
Prana
Total Eclipse
Transwave and a lot more but I am tired so thats enough I think
ballmouse
I'm going to emphasize Man With No Name, Doof, Juno Reactor and Hallucinogen. But one duo I've not seen mentioned so far is X-Dream.
