it would be nice to have days off here and there but overall i like not having them. makes me appreciate my weekends that much more. |

That is true. My company has "offically" 7 holidays. In reality we end up getting between 20-30 days off for "holidays" each year. many 4 days instead of 3 days or just working for 1-4 hours some days. Having that many days off does suck sometimes. It gets pretty damn boring. |

I work for Bank of America & my hubby works for the government, so it's nice... we get all the same days off. :) |

lol. i didn't know it was President's Day today last week, and scheduled off for last Friday and today (it's a tradition for me to skip the day before and after Asian New Year). Well foolish me, i announced a day off on an office holiday. ha!
In the United States, there is always some kind of office holiday once a month. I still don't see why Columbus Day is considered an "office holiday". :wtf: |
