i like it very much, can't find anything i don't like about it. Mixing seems spot on (maybe i missed something i've listened to it twice without paying much attention) tunes are really great. Don't expect a larger review from me.  |

Let me be the first to say I didn't really like it.. Sure, the mixing was spot on and I believe you two put quite a bit of work in the track selection (however gay using ID-ID's may be), but none of the tracks really did anything for me. It just didn't seem to go anywhere for me.. The flow was definitely there, but if the tracks just don't appeal, flow isn't gonna save it.
Too bad, because I usually enjoy listening to Rob's mixes (can't say I've heard too much of Myra's antics yet).. Better luck (for me) next time I hope.. |

This doesn't really suprise me - as from your posts on here I think you're musical tastes probably lean a bit more to the techy/glitchy side of things than the melodic house side, which is probably more the direction that we head live. As you said, if the tracks don't appeal - flow isn't going to save a thing - and this isn't the first time I've had a comment like this on one of my mixes.

I finally got around to listening to the mix and I liked it alot, really kinda chilled until the last track, which is massive. A few of the mixes I wasnt too keen on (ie. the mix into Rivers iirc) but other than that its very solid.
Id like to hear a mix that would be a continuation of this one to see what you guys would do with all the energy you built up. |
