I used to be a big ECW fan, even went to Philly twice for shows.I always hated this chuckle head.Awesome:rolleyes: You would still be alive haha.
The only way to kill Terry Funk is with a silver bullet to the head. You have to wonder how sane a person is when they do that to themselves at that age.I want to see him fight Keith Richards.

I don't like wrestling in the slightest bit but I'd still have some respect for the guy:rolleyes:

Didn't Bam Bam Bigelow die recently as well? I can really see how that type of career would cut a life short. Hulk Hogan is still alive and well but he wasn't nearly as extreme as some guys like Mick Foley.

Why???? Coz he was to inept to have a real life, nor handle the one he chose for himself? Just because someone died don't mean I have to be "aw, jee wiz, let's give him some respect". He ain't done to deserve it. Puh-leez. so, don't you "rolleyes" me, buster!

The thing is, people like Hogan, Flair, Sting, Undertaker... they didnt fight on a regular basis, nor did they put their bodies through the kinda like they do in ECW. They fought selectively, and their fame made it possible because thats who people would come to see. HHH doesnt fight all the time, but he's had both his knees so ed that he doesnt have a choice anymore. Stone Cold made it out barely, with all the knee surguries and his neck surgury. The Rock made a smart move to hit the big screen, he probably saved his life doing that.

I don't have a huge amount of respect for him but I at least have some respect for someone when they die unless they're a lifelong criminal or a complete waste to society. I have less respect for someone if they commit suicide though since I don't believe in it but I still feel some if just a little empathy for them. Wrestling isn't an easy job yet he chose it as well as chose to end his own life. I do have little respect for those who commit suicide but some part of me still feels bad for them. Also had to suck for his friends finding him that way.

I'm sure you at least shed some tears when Anna Nicole died??:haha:

I wouldn't quite call it "tears"... Just wipped out my old copy of Playboy and gave the old chap proper spaking he deserved. Creamed the pages, gave Anna Nicole one last facial (at least on paper) and burried the mag. I wonder if her silicone boobs would show up on e-bay before they cremate her. I'd consider buying them, now that she doesn't need em anymore.

precisely. Foley now fights once a year ish, Hogan less than that now, Sting whenever he wants, taker has been very clever too following them. Flair still looks ok in the ring for his age though. I do think rvd will be ok, but sabu is already showing a lot of signs of struggle, some days he can barely move so needs to use himself sparingly. Whatever you think of wrestling though, these guys go out to give the people some entertainment, and you have to respect that.

On another note, Curt Hennig (Mr Perfect) is one of the inductees into the Hall of fame this year. Perfect (pun intended)
