Only worth the ticket if the Hamptons are opening, IMO.

Could someone talk to me about the Trance/House scene in Minneapolis/St. Paul? I'm moving there in May to start a new corporate job at Northwest Airlines and I'm trying to figure out what type of vibe this town has with electronica.

Haven't been up there yet myself, but hopefully there's a good amount of venues?

I'm moving up from Florida, so I'm used to having places in Orlando, Miami, and Tampa right at my back door.

Thanks,
Ryan

I can say a few words....

I grew up in MPLS but I now reside in Tampa FYI. The scene in MPLS is quite good. Lately there have been tons of good names.... in the last year or so we've seen Tiesto, Marco V, Above and Beyond, Darude, Judge Jules, Robbie Rivera, 4 Strings, Andy Moor, Eddie Halliwell, Green Velvet, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, etc. There are def big names coming to MPLS fairly often.

As far as consistent EDM you can try Farenheit or Foundation nightclubs.

You need to check out www.mnvibe.com and get familiar with the area. Minneapolis is an awesome city... I think you'll really enjoy it there if you can handle the cold winters.

If you need any more details, PM me.
