mIRC mp3 release groups

Umm i see all those groups that release mp3s and i know they r reside on mIRC, but when i try to search for the channel its not there. TWC or TWCMP3 for instance, where is that? Dalnet? Efnet?
Do i need to join or its a public channel? How do i join? What other channels are like that? Is there any channels that serve livests? |

none of these release groups are actually serving any files at all.
if you join their channels and request files, you will first be kicked, and if repeated, you will be banned.
so if your only intention is to leech files, those channels aint the right place for you.
they are idle channels, and a place where ppl can talk about music and other stuff.
its almost like this forum, but only with some of the sections.

from what ive seen you need either to have a very fast conection to the net and be able to host files, or be able to provide new promo's etc

They release the newest stuff on the deep/progressive side. |

| tronik, yes they release deep/progressive stuff. how to join one of the groups is you go and apply in the channel, ask for an app. you dont necessarily have to release the newest stuff, but it looks better if you do |

provide something to them that they don't have and/or need
i.e. new cds before anyone else has them (promos, retail, vinyls)
being able to record and release radio rips very quickly
running a fast site for the group
whatever the group may be after....if you think you can help them out, join their channel and ask an op if they want some help
the bigger groups (i.e. 1real, twcmp3, bmp) probably have everything taken care of, but the smaller groups are usually always looking for help |

| well they still put their release group names in id3 tags and the filename |
