"The L Word" Who loves it as much as me?

Well, this is is prolly my favourite drama on TV, aside from Heroes.

Hard to chose. At this point it has even surpassed Queer as Folk in my books.

Tonights episode was so ing kick ass. WAY TO GO SHANE, redeeming youself (in my eyes) and getting back on your game.

<3

Amazing, was so good to see Shane finally let herself be herself and give in. It's been TOO ING LONG.

Shane makes this show :D

And Papi is a love/hate thing for me... I liked her in today's episode, but when she ing competes w/ Shane for woman (and even goes as far as to blatantly swoop in for the kill on a girl Shane is flirting with at a party... UGH!), its just sad and annoying in my opinion (seems petty of her, she should be better than that... no one can dispute shes the ultimate lesbian player, even a bigger one than Shane, she dont need to prove it ON PURPOSE).

So who else here watches this show and loves it maybe as much as me? I know Lars is with me... any one else? :toocool:

i love the ing L word however i needed to stop reading your message half way through, as i do not have showtime and need to wait for the dvd's to come out.

jenny's my favorite. if i were a woman and she were real, we'd have a lot of sex.

showtime is a season behind. they dont air new episodes in tandem with showtime (us equivalent who airs the show).

I have to DL the episodes via torrent the next morning, on mondays.

ANd UGH re: Jenny. I hate her! :whip:  She seriously makes me mad.

The girl is a basket case. Shane's where it's at man ;)

Helena is ing mint too.

I was SO SAD to see Carmen leave the show. That girl I *may* even have liked more than Shane.

If shane had married her, , I'd have been happy as hell. The ONLY girl I would accept shane settling down with. If its not Carmen, they need to go back to her being a massive i-dont-care player and start ing a lot of woman again :(

I miss old shane... but we saw a bit of that side of her again today with how so interacted with her latest girl interest... a school mommy :p

The "L" word is ok, Queer as Folk was better though.

I love both shows.

I'm hard pressed to say which I truly like more. I ing LOVED Queer as Folk... but the mere fact that this show revolves around lesbians as opposed to gay guys makes it appeal to me FAR, FAR MORE on that level alone.

But that said, I think Queer as Folk is a better show overall and in general.

If I was forced to choice watch one or the other, I'd prolly pick The L Word soley bc of the lesbian content and breasts.

Over all I liked the characters better and thought they were more interesting on Queer as Folk. Nobody, not even Shane, can hold a ing candle to Brian Kenny. The guy's the ing man. He was written awesomely. Loved the way he'd opperate and the stances he'd take on matters. Always so hardcore with everything.

He was a great character.

and The ULTIMATE PLAYER... you gotta respect Brian. That man pulls more ass than I can believe ;)

Shane's ing fantastic too though. I love her character. <3 She needs to start scoring more and going back to her old ways. I'm not a massive fan of the lull she seems to always be in.

My fav characters, the only I truly like are SHANE, of course, Laura (Dana's ex-gf now :(), Carmen (!! Shane's ex... god she was brilliant, those two together were so adorable and cute. PERF couple!), and, I cant believe I'm saying this, but now Max.

As a guy (I dont even think of him/her as a girl anymore... I jsut realized this last episode, I'm shocked actually).

I just see Max pretty much as a guy now... and like his/her character as such with that identity.

I didnt like Max at all at first. He's gown on me though. He's really found his place in LA and on the show now.

Moira SUCKS, but Max KICKS ASS.

Glad he got away from Jenny. ;) :p
