tomorrows going to be the most nervous night of football for united fans in a long time. Shame il be suffering in my office but if we beat milan, this is sure to be a season greater than 1999 since that will pretty be like winning the champions league since its liverpool we will be facing in the final and we made them our whipping boys the last couple of seasons:p
but srsly , one of the most satisfying feelings is to see chelsea get knocked out of the champions league. Mourinho's 'wtf we deserved to win' expression after elimination is one of the highlights of the season. |

Yeah. Man U scum pwns Scousers in EPL, but in CL, Scousers play like they are possessed like demons, even against English teams.

I don see Liverpool doing anything special though. They performed quite weak today. Even though they won they don have what it takes to be a champion. I'm pretty sure both Ac milan and Man UTD can beat Liverpool if they don get bad luck. |

Controlled the whole match, and literally left NO space for Chelsea anywhere on the field.

Ummm - are you serious? We've won it 5 times, Istanbul was the latest, not too far back either - 2005 actually. But if that's too far for you to remember... perhaps look to 2006's FA cup - we won that too... MAKING US CHAMPIONS.
You can have your opinion - but to say the Reds don't have what it takes it so absurd.

As much as i disagree with extacy_bomb, your point is completely irrelevant to this yr's team.

This shows that extacy is wrong...and more importantly, is completely RELEVANT.
Liverpool DEF has what it takes to win it all:
- a great coach
- discipline
- an incredible keeper
- superb defensive play
And, oh ya, they have the animal Steven Gerrard.

First time I have got to a computer.
Watched the BBC text feed until halfway through ET then ran as fast as my little legs would carry me to PJ O'Briens for a tired last few minutes. As much as I have ALWAYS been against penalties deciding significant matches (I know we won the League on them in 2005 - almost died), I understand that the tiredness of players deems them a necesarry evil so I sat myself down for the deciding kicks.
I was on the phone to my mum (they are about 30 secs ahead) so I knew the outcome of each kick before the player stepped up on our feed (was REALLY difficult not to react - didn't want to spoil it).
I had my Stevie pic with me and kissed it many times - seems to have worked.
I don't normally do this but.....
