It seems to me that all the crazy twinkling effects, that made his last tunes, have somehow become quite dull in these. +1 for the effort and legacy though and Im sure hope that we will see a stronger Derek Howell in the future! PHg I think it's a pretty decent release overall, with Le Semilla Pequena being my favourite. That being said, I feel his previous work was better. It is from 2004 or so, that is why it resembles the darker and more melodic Howell. I agree with you. I liked his older productions as well.
