Doors are at 8. Doesn't state an opening act on the website.

Thinking about this one for a few weeks. $35 seems a tad bit much for Sister Bliss and Maxi Jazz. Anyone seen them live before?

These guys are a must-see band. They are the #1 electronic band in the UK, where tickets to their shows are often scalped for 200 pounds. They've headlined at almost every major european summer festival and Live 8 in Berlin.

really folks... this should be a no-brainer.

I didn't see any other TA's there, but turnout was quite good
Excellent show too
They did "Insomnia" as their 2nd track, and "God is a DJ" later on. "We Come One" was last song, and then they did "Salva Mea" as the encore.

Excellent show! So good to see them live after 8 yrs of a US tour hiatus.
Really shocked to see them open w/"Insomnia", which was then followed by a slow song off the new album (which was a strange arrangement of tracks), but they played a remix of 'Insomnia' as their last encore song. 'Salve Mea' was also played early on. Excellent energy & stage presence from all the band members, awesome new singers they've added to the band. Was awesome to see the crowd totally up for it.

Tracks played:

Insomnia
Insomnia remix
Salve Mea
God is a DJ
Bring my Family Back
Muhammad Ali
Mass Destruction
I Want More
Bombs
Reverence
Music Matters
To All New Arrivals
and another track or 2 from the new album.

We got guest list from Maxi Jazz, and my friends who flew down from Toronto were over the moon about meeting the band, all of whom are very sweet.

Lets hope they're not absent from N. America for another 8 yrs....

Partyhopper I thought that was you, but i wasn't sure and wasnt about to go yelling "partyhoppaaaaaah!" in case I was wrong, plus I'm not sure you'd remember me from the one time we met...

I like Faithless a lot, but had no idea what to expect from a live show. They were AMAZING. The set was so diverse musically (which did make for some strange transitions) - one minute it was rocky, then dancy, then folky, don't know how else to explain it. The crowd was with them the second they came on until the last moment. Both the balcony and the main floor were literally vibrating (due in large part to Webster being an older structure for sure, but still...) as everyone jumped up and down.

Insomnia - great, great, great. wish they had played that high energy mix of it later or even closed with it, but it really got the place jumping.
Bombs - loved it, but I'm spoiled on the Benassi remix that Eco and a couple others have put on their mixes.
Music Matters - Is the woman who sang at the show the same one as on the album? Anyhoo, really enjoyed her.
We Come One - Killed, slayed, obliterated. So good.

Would have liked to have heard Evergreen...

Maxi looks like Dave Chapelle from far away, that made me giggle a bit.

The opening DJ was all over the place. By all over the place I mean salsa, then Art of Noise, then Hall and Oates. Seriously. I kinda loved it.

So this was my first time at Webster Hall and i haven't got a single complaint. I'm sure that club/dance nights there are different than a concert, but anyone reading this with specific issues to point out, please do. Is the hateful part the crowd? The music? Security? What? Cause all of that tonight was just fine and lovely.

i saw faithless in SF last night. they were awesome! sorry I can't name tracks.

it was at the fillmore which is a really cool venue. i'd never been there before. it's full of grateful dead and janis joplin memrobilia and all the original concert posters from the 60s until now. the place is like a museum.

it was a good night. my bf liked it too. i wouldn't have known about it if not for this thread:)
