Greetings,
Staying true to our label’s mission, we are extremely excited to introduce and break our next up & coming talent to you. Mario K., was born in Athens, Greece in 1986. At the young age of twelve, he began experimenting with synthesizers & instruments. Now at the age of 19 years old, Mario is able to demonstrate his love and devotion for house music through his own compositions. The Ready Mix Radar for fresh and inspirational new sounds detected him and signed him on the spot. Mario's musical landscape for the near future will contain some minimal, melodic and progressive sounds. A surprising twist of the innovative yet familiar. With a plethora of musical ideas and extensive music studies on the way, he is paving the path to a lush musical career.
This EP contains 2 mesmerizing, hypnotizing, melodic tracks hovering over a tight progressive groove with “Tribal” accents.
A1: "Black & White" has a catchy melody, a driving bassline laid under a galloping tribal/prog groove with some deep ethnic flutes and a big club stab at the end which ties it all together.
B1:"Orange Clouds" is crisp, understated and very appealing. We could swear we heard this dreamy and familiar melody somewhere before. The bassline is funkier however the synths are old school and will certainly appeal to the Deeper House headz. A must hear!!!
