Perfecto records, the pioneering trance and house label set up by original superstar DJ/producer Paul Oakenfold, will be releasing a compilation CD of the key tracks from their 12-year history, entitled Collection, on 22 April.
The album is split into three CDs, each one representing a different aspect of the label. The first CD, labelled The House, does exactly what it says on the tin, running through Perfecto's classic house releases like Stella Browne's recent Never Knew Love back to D:fuse and Joy's She Rides. CD 2, The Trance, is packed with the tracks with which Perfecto made its name as a leading trance imprint, from PPK's Resurrection to Timo Maas' latest club smash To Get Down. The final CD is a chilled After Hours mix, leading with the Dope Smugglaz' The Word.
