I'm sure theres probably been plenty of threads about these legends before, but after searching several times I couldn't find anything.
Anyhow. Awesome group.
Proably most well known for their song Angel on the Adidas Predator football boots adverts. Their album Mezzanine has got to be my favourite album to play after returning from a club a bit spaced out.
My favourite song of theirs is probably either Weather Storm on Protection, Teardrop with Elizabeth Frazer's amazing vocals or Hymn Of The Big Wheel, which was a song my dad used to play a lot when I was a fair bit younger.
What are your favourite massive attack songs or albums? Any of their work had any sort of impact on you?

i'd have said unfinished sympathy was their most renowned hit, rather than angel. and rightly so.. it's one of the best pieces of music ever created  (not to take anything away from the awesomeness of angel)
'protection' (feat tracey thorn) has slightly more of a personal impact on me, though.. i'd put that as my favourite, in my top 5 of all time for sure. unfinished sympathy would probably still make top 10 though

| I would say that out of all their releases, "Aftersun" is easily the victor if it comes down to how good it is. In my opinion, angel, teardrops ect are pretty overrated but still amazing songs. |

I love so many of their tracks, but my favourite would have to be Group Four, with Elizabeth Frazer's vocals :eyespop:
I also really like Heat Miser :happy2:
Mezzanine is still one of the best albums ever IMO. |

brilliant. saw them at coachella 06, blew my mind so I had to see them again with TV on the Radio in Hollywood. ing mesmerizing performance + light show. 100th window doesn't get the attention it deserves imo.

| Was it the 2 disc LP? 1 side being dvd he other CD? I picked that up in England when I went along with some nice novelties and rare NIN ep's :D |

| I love their work with Tracey Thorn... especially Protection. One of my favorite tracks as well. |
