Making short movie do you guys have any suggustions?

ok my movie is going to be this
This middleaged scientist lives in northerncanada. Hes a hermit pretty much. All this guy does is crazy experiments and he is facinated by the world and all the lovely stuff in it ect ect. Anyways one day he discovers how to great a kind of anti gravity metal. Using this metal he creates a craft that can fly alot like a UFO. On the inside there is a large large window and two joysticks. everything glows soft white on the inside. Whenever it turns on it glows extermely bright. It almost looks like a star or whatever. So he flys around in this thing and it's all awesome and stuff and he flys all over the earth and stuff.
After a while of searching the cosmos and going to all these crazy different planets and solar systems ect he has to head back home to earth at the end of the day because he forgot his food. It doesn't really matter though because he can just blink back to earth in an instance.
So he blinks home and he arrives just by the moon and it's a great shot of earth and stuff. He then slowly starts decending back to his house in canada.
All of a sudden his craft loses power and he starts to plumet. His craft sears through the atmosphere leaving a long trail of smoke. He crashes right into the middle of texas. the deep deep texas.
So the doc wakes up in a small crater right in the middle of the most redneck town that you have ever seen. His craft has regained power and all the doc looks out his window to a bunch of rednecks gawking at him. Mind you he can see them through the window but all they see is a big bright light. So he leans forward and flips on the megaphone he installed. He tells them that he's god and they all believe him. He thinks this is awesome. He loves acting like god because they all believe him. So he convinces them to do stupid things like worship porcipines and tea cups saying they're sacred. Then he falls in love with one of them and wants to tell the redneck girl hes not really god. Then the towns folk find out before he tells her and she hates him. Then he takes her on a tour of the galaxy and she loves him again.
lol plz help me with this story
