After 3 months of playing around with my CDJs, I figure it's about time to record a proper mix.
My first mix features progressive breaks that build slowly into progressive trance/house.
The inspiration for this mix comes from my late night strolls, hence the title '4AM'.
My hope is to recreate the mood and atmosphere of the streets late at night.

Overview:
Telefon Tel Aviv - Sound In A Dark Room
A nice and laidback downtempo track starts off the mix with dreamy vocals that float over the melody.
Sultan & Tone Depth feat. Stephanie Vezina - Broken
The peaceful mood created by the previous track is shattered by the ominous mood 'Broken' brings through it's
dark and eerie vocals.
Orchid - The Moonflow
'The Moonflow' floats in with soft synths that chime like bells to a sweet melody. The soft percussion makes you feel
as if you're in a dream.
Jiva feat. Stephanie Vezina - My Dream
Speaking of dreams, the next track is appropriately titled "My Dream". Stephanie Vezina's voice drifts along
accompanied by the strings and piano, creating a wonderful sense of harmony.
Digital Witchcraft - Fingerpaint
Favourite song of all time. The piano, bells, percussion, and everything else just flows together in perfect harmony
and rhythm creating a bubbly and calming melody.
Momu - This Is Momu (Jondi & Spesh Remix)
Turning point of the mix as things begin to change gears. We go from breaks to a steady 4/4 kick with 'This Is Momu'.
The eerie cries of the synths create a darker atmosphere.
Subsky - Single Gun
'Single Gun' plops in with its rhythmic percussion and driving bassline. Amidst the strange echoes comes a soft and
sweet melody that brings life to the track.
Pole Folder feat. Sandra Ferretti - Protected
The dark mood is lifted with 'Protected' and its soft and mellow lyrics.
Mark Norman presents Celine - Colour My Eyes
Another favourite of mine, 'Colour My Eyes' presents us with an uplifting melody that changes the atmosphere once
again.
Benz & MD - Still Rain
Things begin to pick up with 'Still Rain' as the pace quickens. The chiming bells are like birds chirping at the
dawning of the sun.
Basic Perspective - Under The Influence
The closing song of the mix storms in with a strong kick that represents the warmth of fresh sunlight. The triumphant
melody slowly dies away as your head hits the pillow.
